Welcome. I see you're a new face around here. This is Fuhsin Village. I wonder what brought you here. You are probably only a passerby, but even if you only decide to stay a short time, allow me to tell you a bit about this place.

Basic Information

Fushin is a small village on the southern end of Sazanami. The village lies near the southwestern coast, though a small forest separates it from the coastal ports. While much of the town itself is on flat ground, there are many hills and slopes that surround it. A river also runs through the town, providing an easily accessible source of water.

Residents

Many types of pokémon take refuge here, the majority consisting of bug, grass, normal, and water pokémon. There have been cases of ground and rock types, but they are few in number and often simply pass through. Many of the residents are famers, working in the paddies or gathering fruits and vegetables in the nearby forest, or traders and merchants who offer these goods to other villages in exchange for other goods. There are also some that pass through the town, often offering goods or services in exchange for a place to stay. Despite this, past events have made the villagers wary of outsiders, often needing time to fully except them.

Food

The river that flows through town provides a suitable amount of water for growing rice in the area, which has become our main crop. There are also a number of berry trees, as well as various fruits and vegetables growing in the forest nearby. Seafood is also known to be traded for in exchange for these. Often traders and merchants who come through town will bring goods not found near the area, which increases the variety, but this only happens so often.

Government

Despite being a village of Sazanami, Fushin has remain a minor thought to the shogun, due to being only a minor source of agriculture. Wanting to have a way to govern themselves when necessary, one group, a family of Scizor, was picked to helped to run the village. Economic and criminal issues were often brought to them to be solved. Whenever someone had done wrong or a problem came up, they would gather the adults of the village to decide how to fix it, as well as decide on a punishment if needed.

History

While this village here goes rather unnoticed, there is a little story that surrounds it.

The village was settled by a small handful of different pokémon. As the villagers began to settle themselves, they appointed a family of knowledgeable Scizor, the Uragira, to advise them and help them with them with problems they may have. As the village grew, the Uragira became a respected group in the village, becoming its trusted leaders.

One day, Kisaragi, the current leader, left his three children to handle business in village. After his departure, one of the children heard a something from within their home. They investigated the sound to find a young Gible, feeding on fruit that it found within the house. Noticing the three, it attacked them in fear. The oldest, Akio, captured him and left it to his father to decide what to do with him. They searched for its family, but could find no one. Aoi, Kisaragi’s wife, decided to take him in. While it was difficult, the child became a common sight around the village. He was named Uragi, after the family name. Uragi had become a trusted friend of the youngest son, Shinrai, and the daughter, Dai, and was trusted as though they were blood. That would come to change however.

There came a day, Uragi went missing his siblings had decide to search for him. The scoured the surrounding forest but could not find him. Suddenly, they saw smoke coming from the village. They returned to see much of the village in flames, being ravaged by bandits. The three had split up, Dai and Akio proceeded to help the villagers, while Shinrai ran straight for the building at the center of village, where his parents were. Akio ran after him, but was stopped in his tracks by an attack. Then, as suddenly as they had come, the assailants had left, leaving behind only their destruction

After the attack, the two sibling found that their home was the only one to have been completely destroyed. Within the wreckage, they found only their parents, their bodies cold and lifeless. Near them, they found a fang seeming to belong to Uragi. Their brother was nowhere to be found. They searched for him for days, but could find nothing. After burying their parents, Akio had become the village advisor. With their parents dead, their brother missing and presumed dead, and the village in ruin, Akio began to help restore the village, as his father did before him. Now, he protects Fushin, serving as its guardian and advisor.

A village i created based on Shinrai's backstory.

Yooo, just dropping a little note that your cressant count is slightly off. Since you wrote 827 words, you've earned 850 cressants. The cressant system in the group takes some getting used to (I would know, I'm the group's treasurer haha) so if you ever feel like figuring out the cressant amount is too troublesome or anything, just leave the total word count and I'll handle it!
