PoA - The Giant

Ah! Here's one ya might like.

The land of Avalon is a large and beautiful place, with many Pokemon to call it home, but let me ask you something. Did you know that the countries were once separate islands? Well, you're probably listening to me thinkin' "That's just ridiculous", but you'd be surprised. Why don't you sit down and let me tell you a story about how Avalon came to be.

It is said that there was once a Pokemon, a great giant colored white and yellow, who wandered the oceans, going from landmass to landmass, observing the various peoples that inhabited them. To any who managed a catch a glimpse of him, he appeared as a mirage on the horizon, so no one truly believes they've seen him. Its said that when he'd reach an island, he would study them, check their condition, the plants, how well Pokemon have adapted to it, things like that. He was like a farmer checking his crop, as though he had a plan for them. When he was done, he would simply move on to the next island, rarely leaving a trace of his being there. He for many years he would repeat this, watching over the various islands in a sort of cycle.

One day, the giant broke the cycle and did something unexpected. Using its rope like fingers, the giant towed each of the various islands, one-by-one, to a singular place. With the islands gathered, he used them to create a singular island, binding them together with ice, steel, and stone. When he was done, using the remainder materials used to bind the islands, he created three golems in his image and sent them to different areas of the land. These beings would watch over this new land, examining the effects of these different places being bound together. After this, it is said that he went into a deep slumber, his body becoming a statue somewhere hidden on the landmass.

As time passed the land has shifted and changed, some of it even separating from the mainland to form the various islands around here. Now some say that this is just a legend, but I've heard rumors that they've seen the golems at different places, watching, but remaining out of sight. It is also said that if the three golems are gathered at a certain place, the giant will awaken for its slumber again. Why that is, I don't know, maybe a plan for something that might happen? Who knows?

Well, did you enjoy the story? I hope so. You're probably wondering why I'm telling you this. I'm telling ya cause I've seen the giant, just sittin as an enormous statue. I don't remember where, but I did. Everyone tells me it's just a rock, but I know what it really is. Maybe one day you might find him, or one of the golems. Fate has a funny way of working out like that
